As an early childhood education teacher, you have the opportunity to work in a fun and supportive team environment where you can make a difference in a child’s life. We have an opening for a full-time teacher in our 2-year-old classroom. Ballard Center uses best-practice education and a social/emotional curriculum. Our kitchen provides healthy, whole food to students and teachers. Experience in childcare is required. Preference for CPR/First Aid certified. Spanish-speaking is a plus.

Job duties:

• Implements daily lesson plan and classroom activities
• Coordinates meals, snacks, nap time and bathroom activities
• Maintains classroom organization and performs daily cleaning tasks as required by childcare licensing standards.
• Provides support and supervises relevant volunteers when related to current job duties

• First Aid/CPR certification (Ballard will provide if not already current)
• Health assessment and negative TB test
• Satisfactory KBI Criminal Background Check
• Completion of Health and Safety training for childcare centers
