EMERGENCY FUNDS NEEDED NOW IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19
$1,000 Assures that necessities such as food, diapers, clothing and household goods are always available to Ballard clients in emergencies. A pledge in this amount, which is just $83 per month, or less than $3 a day, supports the 3,386 clients who made a visit to our pantry in 2020.
$500 Covers the cost associated with assuring a family has heat when the first freeze hits.1,188 family members received financial assistance such as rent or utility assistance from Ballard’s Emergency Services in 2020.
$200 Will keep our seasonal events alive, which include Holiday Bureau, T.O.Y.S and kindergarten graduation. In 2020, 728 kids and family members benefited from gifts during the holidays from Ballard.
$100 Provides our classrooms with adequate supplies such as crafts, books, rugs, and sleeping mats.

Our Mission – The Ballard Center partners with families to achieve stability through early childhood education and needs-based services.
In addition to providing affordable high-quality early childhood education, we offer services to help families when they experience difficulties, so a stable family environment for children can be maintained. With the help of generous community donations, Ballard provides wrap-around supports to families through our food pantry, clothing closets, emergency assistance programs and other initiatives.
